I spent my Christmas this year with the AFA people. Though not all came, but I am glad that most of them are able to make it. We held the celebration at cine Kbox. We had buffet dinner over there and we took turn to sing. Everyone was enjoying themselves especially the part where we need to exchange gift, all of us had a good laugh. We ended the gathering at 11pm. Took a cab home with Jasmine.

 Next was with bf family.

Woke up early that day, and bf drove us to his relative places at the pinacle condo(if I am right)?Every year is the same routine, whereby they will have gathering at auntie Ann house, food feast, mahjong and catching up with one another. We stayed  there throughout from afternoon till 10.30pm before heading for our movie. Really happy to be part of their family. Though, It is my 2nd year celebrating Christmas with them but they were all nice people & I love them.

My christmas present from dearest. It is not something expensive that I can brag about but this gift here is actually thoughts from dearest. He knew that my perfume is about to used up and my lips has been cracking due to medication and he bought it as a gift. I am really very touched that bf think so well and much for me. Really appreciated.

 

So now, how did you guys celebrate this joyous occassion?

Cynthia's big 20

It was school day, so after my UT which is a material science paper if I remember clearly, I met up with pearlyn to buy gift for our beloved cynthia big 20th birthday party. It was pouring heavily  and we took bus over to one of their friend house to celebrate.

Once reaching, Cynthia open the door for us and she was shocked that we came because we are of a different clique of friends and it was her close friends who plan this surprise for her.  

We had mini steamboat and took many pictures, but unfortunately I did not take much as my Iphone batt is running low :( Anyway, I am glad to know the girls. They were super friendly and bubbly. Super love peoples like them where you do not need to act friendly or close to them. They are just being their way, making fun of you yet would offered food to you.

Lastly, the cut cake session where everyone sing birthday song &wishing her all well. So happy that everything went well & to see cynthia being happy with the surprised.

Pro Trim @ 313 somerset

Went to Pro trim at 313Somerset last month to get my hair done from Alex.

It is sponsored and I am so thankful that they look for me. All thanks to my primary school friend selyn poh. She is very skillful and professional in hair dye and had even went to london to further.
Back to topic, I have being offered Alex as my hair stylist and he has been in this line for many years. He is quite a shy and humble guy, he treat all his customer sincerly.
I have arrived there at 5pm but the shop is busy with customer

as you all can see.

Thus I got to wait and I am served with a jasmine tea. Glad that it came hot, not the usual warm one that I normally got it from other salon where it will be cold after while. So while waiting, took  a few pictures of me.

Waited for nearly 30 mins before someone bring me over to wash my hair and put some chemical. My hair stylist is still busy with his customer so I actually doze off awhile before the timer alarm and I need to wash my hair again. The whole procedure was super bored and restless, guess I am drained from school before I came here.

So after all those hair blowing, straightening, Alex came over to attend me like finallly. LOL

I had a little hair cut and he told me that my hair is super damaging which I thought my hair was quite healthy o.O nevertheless, Alex given me some tips on how to take good care of my hair and he is being super patient too. He told me that he wanted to make my hair look more volumize as my hair was plainly flat. Thus he did digital perm on me, but not those super 'pong' kind, just simply wavy.

After perming, Alex went to put neutralising lotion at my hair to prevent damage, Super cool. Hahaha

We stay all the way till 11+ pm to get everything done. I am satisfied with his work and everyone say I look better with my new hair. All thanks to Pro trim for given me this opportunity and Alex wonderful skills.

Give It A Try

As mention previously I am on medication. I went for consultation about my skin conditions. I started since last month, mid October I guess, to see if it actually works. I went to a clinic located at Hougang called Dr Chan Clinic. By all means you all can do some research about the clinic and Dr Chan, he is a humorous doctor who keep telling me not to put anything on my face and wash my face 4 times a days. NO JOKES! I personally find it too much to wash 4 times a day but I still listen to him and at times I only wash 3 or 2  times per days!

My skin condition was not that bad la, just that I want to achieve smooth clear face, and my friend actually recommend me to Dr Chan. My skin gets oily easily due to the unbalance oil secretion. My skins can get dry or super oily at times and pimples keep reoccurring even though it heals but with light scar :( I got so inferior at times and my self-esteem actually does get affected. I went for facial each month and my skin complexion does get better, but as months passes, I realise my pores are enlarging and it traps more dust and my oil secretion is getting more irregular plus it worsen as my scars are more obvious due to all the extraction done. So please stop doing extraction guys.. Normal facial is fine for boosting radiance or hydration but NO to extraction. I learnt my lesson!

So, Dr Chan gave me 2 kind of pills, called acnotin and ermycin and a cleanser. I actually do not know what does the pills do to my face but I actually can notice that my face does not produce oil secretion as often and I am having less pimples and some of the pimples actually really disappear. Unbelievable right, but Dr Chan said that I must give myself 4 month times to actually see the result so no matter what he says or advises given I must follow and trust him. This is what he said, "NO SKIN CARE PRODUCT LIKE TONER, SUNBLOCK, BB CREAM, MOISTURIZER, SKII, EVERSOFT, BIO-ESSENCE AND ETC....CAN YOU DO IT?" I was shocked, how can he list almost all the product that are sold in the market. LOL!! I replied" EMMMM, really cannot put anything? like even toner?" He laugh and said" That is why people keep complaining to me Dr chan Why I cannot have baby smooth skin... is because you all don't listen to what I said."  

Thus I am super determined, I listen to what he actually said. Seems abit gross without toner and moisturize but after some times I get used to it. Hope by 4 months time, I could achieved a better complexion and I shall post photo for the result.
